Acceptable Use
How you may use our platform, content, and community areas.
You agree to use English Courses lawfully and respectfully. This includes honoring intellectual property, keeping your account secure, and following community standards.
- No account sharing: Do not share credentials or allow multiple users to access a single paid account.
- No copying/distribution: Do not copy, record, scrape, or redistribute lessons, audio, PDFs, quizzes, or other materials unless explicitly allowed.
- No abuse or interference: Do not attempt to disrupt the service, probe security, or overload systems (including automated traffic).
- AI assistance rules: You may use AI tools for personal study; you may not use automation to download content in bulk or to impersonate other users or instructors.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate access for violations, suspected fraud, or security concerns. Where appropriate, we’ll provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Billing
How charges, renewals, taxes, cancellations, and refunds work.
Prices are shown before checkout. Taxes may apply depending on your location and applicable law. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
Cancellation
You can cancel any time to stop future renewals. Access typically continues until the end of your current billing period.
Refund window
If a refund is available, it must be requested within the period shown at checkout or communicated in-app.
Billing help
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support with your billing email, approximate date, and the last 4 digits of the payment method (if available).
License
Your rights to access and use course materials.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the courses while your subscription is active or while you have an active entitlement.
- All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
- Course content remains the property of English Courses or its licensors.
- You may not remove copyright notices or watermarks.
Liability
Disclaimers and limits to the extent permitted by law.
Services are provided as-is and as available. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that specific learning outcomes will be achieved.
Limitation of damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Changes
How we update these Terms and notify users.
We may update these Terms to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational needs. Material changes will be announced in-app and via email when feasible.
